"At the end of the day you want to know you've given your best efforts." If you aren't giving your best than what are you giving??? It is a bit of a slap in the face to ourselves when we do the big reveal of who has been destroying all of the good opportunities surrounding us and realize it has been none other than that devilish figure I glance at who lives in the mirror. We are all at fault here, there are no exceptions, you can either take it or leave it. Getting over the whole victim mentality, victim consciousness or just plainly seeing yourself as a victim of all of this life transpiring against you will transform you into something truly powerful. Over the past few days I've taken a few things into consideration one of them being, which I'll share with you now is this: Life is a lot like a video game and once you figure out what kind of player you are it all starts to make a lot of sense. We see it in everyone else but it's so hard to see it in ourselves, why? Well because why would we want to consciously bring ourselves down? That just doesn't sit right. I kinda like who "I AM" so why would I want to tear myself a new one in that sense? Like a snake sometimes we have to shed a layer to bring out the best of what we have to offer. Otherwise what does that say about us? Trying to hold on to dead weight, carrying around baggage that doesn't serve any purpose. Seems a bit unneccesary right? The aim of the game is to find out more about who it is you already are, not add on more that has nothing to do with who you are. You feel this and having to explain to others that "This just goes against who I am." feels criminal in a way. When we continually participate and lead ourselves in the direction which does not pay respect to who we are, we always pay the price. We suffer dearly and those around do as well. I was thinking about the ways in which we can play a video game and tailor the approach to so many different styles. Two that jump out immedately are: Playing for fun & Playing to win Are you Player A OR Are you player B?
